Tibco GI-Parse xml cache

Yesterday I was facing problem in loading the data in select/combo fetched from Webservices. Data fetched from webservices are stored in local cache file. Then I browsed the Tibco GI API and got some hints. Its very easy to do.  Lets see step wise:
1. Get the xml document in srcDoc from cache- menu_xml.Data from webservices are loaded in cache in some local cache file. here menu_xml is used for example.
        var srcDoc = tibco.app.logic.SERVER.getCache().getDocument("menu_xml");

2. Convert the srcDoc in List of nodes.
        var recordNodes = srcDoc.getChildNodes(false);

3. Get the size of List recordNodes
        var recordSize = recordNodes.size();

4. Iterate the list, get the attributes and form the string to be loaded as XMLString in Drop down.
      var xmlString = '';
    var recordNode;

    for (var i = 0; i < recordSize; i++)
    {
        recordNode = recordNodes.get(i);
        xmlString +="";
        }
    xmlString += "
";

5. Set the xmlString in combo.setXMLString(xmlString).

6. The drop down will get populated with value and options.

MRT Pass

It was the day if Diwali(2007) and we all decided to go Murugan temple. After visiting
nearby temple we all Guys from Race course road went to catch bus for Murugan
temple. Senthil was very much interested to go to murugan temple and because of
him all were going. But he was not sure about which bus will go. He asked one
freind and he told a number ( i dont remember that). the bus came and we went
into that. everybody swiped their EZLink card for fare except Surya. He took
ticket of 90 cents. Its minimum fare of bus in Singapore if you want to take it
by cash, by EZLink card it will be 67 cents. We enquired him why he dint swiped
his card, because its costlier by cash, but according to Surya he was not having
Bus pass so he took ticket. Ohh ok we thought he is not having EZLink card
becasue he came only one moth back so he might not have got. But fact was
something else. I asked him then how he goes to offiice. Its in Suntec only. He
said he goes by MRT and is having MRT Pass and told that its cheaper than
regular fare. We were surprised and, I told him to show that. It was same EZLink
card. Heee hee ..and one more surprise item, actually it was first time he was travelling in bus in
Singapore, he always took MRT to commute so he was not having idea about that.
It was a joke of the day and we enjoyed alot.

Now twist in story. Rather
than going to Orchard Road bus was going to Suntec City. I asked driver and he
said that the bus will never go to Murugan temple and we got down at Citi Hall.

We all took 857 and came back, but Senthil went again after enquiring
the correct bus number. We got down at Little India, had south Indian mean in
Sarvana Bhanwan and went back home.
After having south indian meal I was
feeling lazy and tired I spent while sleeping in afternoon.

But i was
missing my home a lot on the day of diwali. I dont know when I will celebrate
Diwali with my parents.

Weight Reduce and Sustain

Weight Reduce is not easy cakewalk. It needs a lot of dedication and consistency.

I reduced 4 kgs in 6 months but when I became irregular with my program, I gained it within a month :(.

Weight can be easily reduced by doing cardio. Just burn daily 1000 calories and do some weights, the extra weight will start going and daily the effect can be figure out.

But once you feel that you have reduced enough and start being rlax the extra weight reduced will come back very fast.

It easy to reduce weight, but its very tough to sustain that reduction that I learned.
